Beloved by Kiwis the world over, and with millions of fans from other countries (when the AB’s aren’t thrashing their own teams) the All Blacks are that rare find, a global brand with their roots firmly planted in every New Zealanders DNA.

Meta Digital was brought on to re-build the AB’s stand-alone online shop, and to work with the team at Propellerhead to ensure that the site would integrate seamlessly with the existing Team All Blacks website and systems.
It was important to understand all the elements the client needed to build a truly functional eCommerce platform that would take the brand beyond its local borders to reach fans and consumers globally.
The All Blacks wanted a modern, responsive site with a solid eCommerce platform that would integrate with their existing systems. They also wanted to be able to build campaign pages for special occasions and give their own team autonomy of the site so they could easily update.
The Meta team chose to use WordPress and WooCommerce, both mature software platforms that offer options to easily scale and integrate with other online platforms, including the All Blacks ordering and payment systems and All Blacks Facebook page.
The result, the All Blacks have a website with increased functionality, and supporters the world over can easily buy all the merch they need to #backblack.
